Ugg Boots Care

Importance of Ugg Boots Care

Ugg boots care is key to keeping them comfy and stylish. Regular cleaning keeps the sheepskin soft and helps your boots last longer. Protecting them from stains and moisture means they’ll stay in good shape, looking fresh and feeling cozy. Using the right care products is easy and makes a big difference, preventing issues like matting and discolouration. By taking a little time to care for your ugg boots, you’ll enjoy their warmth and comfort for many seasons.

Water Resisting Uggs

To protect your boots and make them water resistant, we recommend you use Ugg Boots Repellent Spray. Just spray your uggs and allow 10 min to dry. Waterproofing your ugg boots will protect them from cooking oil, dirt or water and increase their life. Be aware though, that once your ugg boots get wet, you need to let them dry out and then apply another coat of the spray.

Washing Ugg Boots

Wet entire boot with cold water. Do not use hot water as it may cause shrinking. Apply Ugg Boots Cleaning Spray & Detergent to a clean sponge or soft brush. Clean entire area thoroughly and evenly. Rinse ugg boots in cold water. Reshape by stuffing with a towel. Allow to dry naturally and slowly – DO NOT dry in direct heat or sunlight.

Ugg boots cannot be dried in a clothes dryer. They must be air dried, preferably hanging upside down from the sole and away from heat and direct sunlight. The boots will take several days to dry completely. You will notice once the ugg boots have dried that they have shrunk slightly but this is normal. After wearing them for an hour or so, they will go back to the normal, warm and comfortable state you are used to.

After washing and drying, spray your uggs with Ugg Boots Protector Water & Oil Repellent to give them extra protection and to extend their life.

Removing the Stains

If you have a grease stain on your uggs, use a sharp knife to scrub some powder from a white chalk over the stain, leave it for a few minutes. Then blow away the access chalk and with your hand, gently rub the stain. Repeat this a few times until the stain disappears. For extremely tough stains you can gently rub the stain with sandpaper but beware that this may take the colour away.

Removing the Rain Spots

Sometimes you can get what we call “spotting” where the footwear have come into contact with a few drops of water. You can usually eliminate those spots by folding the footwear onto itself, that is skin against skin, and gently rubbing it together.
